Rug Festival & Sale

Location : Levells Hall Garden (Off Bildeston Market Square), Bildeston, Suffolk, IP7 7EP

Within original nomadic tents and a Turkoman yurt, will be an array of handmade rugs, carpets, runners, stools and cushions sourced by Sara Tatum of The Rug & Carpet Studio, all displayed in her beautiful garden in the centre of Bildeston.

Joining us this year

• Wiktor Wyszynski’s private collection of antique Chinese rugs
  (you may remember he was our guest speaker last year).
• Heritage Thread of Lavenham with rug and carpet restoration demonstrations and advice.
• The Gainsborough Silk Weaving Company.
• This is a rare opportunity to purchase their beautiful fabric at massively reduced prices.
• All remnants and end of lines from their storeroom.
• Nicola’s delicious pop-up café.

Evening Soiree Thursday 7th May 6.30pm-8.30pm

Please join us for an atmospheric evening within the tents. Turkish Oud player Bana Yetkin will entertain you while you enjoy a selection of Turkish canapés and a glass of wine surrounded by images of rug making and beautiful handmade rugs.

Tickets £20 each. Booking in advance is essential.
